The Glendronach ‘Very Sherry’ Dinner
An evening of whisky + Udaberri’s Spanish food delights
Thursday 23 October | 6:30pm | 250pp
Step into the rich heritage of Highland whisky as Ralph Louis Frederick plays host to the Adelaide unveiling of the complete The Glendronach Master’s Anthology, paired with spanish tapas delights.
This remarkable new collection captures the breadth and depth of sherry cask maturation. Curated by acclaimed Master Blender Rachel Barrie, it celebrates almost 200 years of expertise in crafting rich and complex single malts.
Each expression has been composed to highlight a different aspect of The Glendronach’s character:
Glendronach Ode to the Valley – a fruit-forward tribute to the lush Valley of Forgue.
Glendronach Ode to the Embers – a rare, smoky echo of Glendronach’s peated past.
Glendronach Ode to the Dark – the decadent crescendo, matured solely in Pedro Ximénez casks.
Drawing upon over three decades of artistry, Rachel Barrie’s anthology explores the aromatic depth and complexity of The Glendronach’s sherry cask tradition, culminating in some of the richest, darkest expressions ever crafted from this historic, near 200-year-old distillery.
The evening will be guided by Linus Schaxmann, Brand Ambassador for The Glendronach, and paired with a Spanish-inspired menu, each plate created to echo and elevate the whiskies’ character.
To round off this beautiful evening, guests will be treated to two exceptional treasures from the distillery’s famed Single Cask series:
• The Glendronach 1993 28YO Cask 4194
• The Glendronach 16 Year Old 1996 PX #1496
This is more than a dinner—it is an ode to cask, craft, and culinary artistry.
